Singapore Land Authority (SLA) is the national custodian of state land in Singapore. SLA is a statutory board under Ministry of Law. Besides overseeing State land, SLA is primarily involved in State Land Sales, management of State Leases, State Acquisitions, and Allocation of Land Use. As SLA is managing the national land information database, public can access information on property ownership through SLA.
The statutory board was formed on 1 June 2001 through the merger of government departments including Singapore Land Registry, Survey Department and Land Systems Support Unit.
